RECEIVING & INSPECTION
In this process the material is received and thoroughly counted and inspected on various factors(like quantity, oil, grease, color, rust, coating/plating etc.). Once the inspection is cleared then the lot moves to the next step i.e. Degreasing.
In this process chemical cleaning is done and the lot goes through series of operations like pre-cleaning, ultra-sonic cleaning, water rinsing etc. This process is done to remove impurities like oil, grease, dirt etc.
The material is dried in with the help of drying oven before it goes to shot blasting.
In this process shots are fired at high pressure to remove scales, rust and hence make the surface smooth to ensure proper and even coating.
MIXING OF CHEMICAL
In this process preparation and mixing of chemical takes place as per the required pH, temperature, viscosity etc.
Parts to be treated in bulk or on racks are covered with a wet film by immersing in a cold aqueous dispersion, without any electrolytic action. The use of a pneumatic electrostatic spray gun is an alternative method of applying the coating.
The final structure of the coating is achieved by curing at about 300 deg C. This advantage develops the properties of adhesion and corrosion, resistance for the film. Two coats are minimum for bulk dip-spin treatment. Parts treated by other coating methods can have either a single or multiple layers.
In this stage 100% inspection takes places for coating defects. The approved material is packaged and dispatched.
In this stage few materials are subjected to salt spray test for the designated time period. A detailed salt spray report is generated thereafter.
